Want Your life back?
Are you getting swamped with paperwork?
Are you behind on your BAS returns?
For a small business missing ATO deadlines can present a huge challenge and cost you money.
STOP spending all weekend tackling the books - GO and spend time with your loved ones.
We have a range of solutions that will give you back that quality of life you set out to achieve by working for yourself.
We work with many local trades and services and can offer timely, efficient and accurate bookkeeping to suit you
Online Accounts
Providing the greatest flexibility - For a fixed monthly fee you will get access to your accounts file in 'the cloud' where you can raise and send customer invoices and receive payments. Then email us your bank and credit card statements and we will handle everything else - reconcile bank statements, enter purchases and prepare and lodge your BAS, IAS statements and superannuation reports.
Your accountant can also access your file directly to process any journals that they may require for end of year taxation reporting. As your accountant has instant access to your up to date accounts at any time, they will be more readily able to assist you with the provision of accurate business planning advice.
Bookkeeping at our Office
This option suits the smaller business that issues manual invoices to their customers and has a relatively small number supplier bills each month. All the invoice books, bills and bank statements are either delivered or express posted (so the parcel can be tracked) to our office. In some instances documents can also be scanned and emailed to us.
We process your accounts (monthly) on our software and produce monthly reports including profit and loss and balance sheet reports for you to keep track your business operations. All your original paperwork is then express posted back to you.
At the end of each quarter we will also prepare and lodge your BAS, IAS statements and superannuation reports.
At the end of the financial year all your accounts data will be provided to you by on CD so you can give it to your accountant for the purpose of completing your business taxation. This information may also be emailed (determined by the size of the accounting file).

common GST mistakes | 27.03.14
Many business owners doing the books for themselves fall into a few common GST traps. These mistakes include claiming GST credits for the entire amount on an invoice when some items are GST free (especially in the food business where many basic food items are GST free, Claiming GST credits when the supplier is not registered for GST, claiming GST credits on private use items and claiming GST on purchases when you haven't got a valid tax invoice (over $82.50 inc GST).
Other common Problems | 13.02.14
Many business owners fnd that they are so busy trying to run their business that they forget the bookkeeping. It's not surprising that PAYG, superannuation payments and GST returns often miss the ATO deadline. Forgetting and putting off debt collection is also another major issue... you have to keep on top of the people that owe you money!
